You can find all of these prints for sale at Backwell House, a beautifully restored country house just outside Bristol.  Much of the art you can see there is supplied by Hidden Gallery in Clifton as part of their Backwell Art.  My work can be found in the gorgeous bedrooms but if you need an excuse to get away from it, they are well worth checking out.  The house made it into the Sunday Times 100 Ultimate British Hotels List in 2016!

Prints at Craftisan

Craftisan is a new shop/gallery/cafe on the Wells Road in Totterdown, Bristol, UK.  Since they opened, I have been selling my prints and cards there.  Back in August, Emily asked me if I wanted to set up a small exhibition of my prints so I chose a selection of my textile collages and collagraph prints, mostly of local scenes of Bristol and Somerset.

South Bank Arts Trail 14th/15th May 2016

Rain Shower, Textile Collage
This one will be at the arts trail in Bristol.  Inspired by the Quantocks in North Somerset.
More of my prints including the new Avon Gorge will be on sale, as well as cards and little pictures that make perfect gifts.  It’s always fun at the arts trail, this year has a carnival theme so it should be really colourful!

New Work at Hidden Gallery

I will have some new work for sale in March at Hidden Gallery in Clifton Arcade, Bristol.  Hidden is a new prestigious gallery,  set up inside a beautiful Victorian shopping arcade at the heart of Clifton, Bristol, only metres away from Clifton Suspension Bridge. This iconic image of Bristol has been portrayed by many artists and I wanted to create my textile piece to celebrate the fabulous and colourful view of the Avon Gorge, without human interference except for Brunel’s excellent engineering feat of course! I hope you like it.

Christmas Exhibition!

CLifton Suspension Bridge

Clifton Suspension Bridge

Clevedon Pier

I have focused on familiar Bristol scenes for this Christmas exhibition which is being held at Sky Blue Fine Art gallery in Henleaze, Bristol. The exhibition starts next weekend on Saturday 4th December. See below for a link to their website. Both were quite a challenge but I am pleased with the result.

Clifton Suspension Bridge is iconic and every artist wants to draw it, paint it and etch it but I might be the first to have sewn it!

Clevedon is famous for its pier, it is the only fully intact, Grade 1 listed pier in the country and you always get fantastic skies there. I couldn’t resist.

Ploughed Field in Snow

I will also be exhibiting at The Winds of Change gallery in Winchcombe near to Cheltenham (see link below) from 11th December. This is a beautiful little art gallery and worth a visit for that special present.

I have some Christmas cards for sale. Ploughed Field was inspired from walks with my dog in the Herefordshire countryside and Moonlight, from a view of Totterdown, a snowy scene we are already experiencing! If you would like any, please email me.

Moonlight

The price for Ploughed Field is £2 and Moonlight is £2.50 with a 15% discount for orders of 5 and over.

Have a lovely Christmas!
