I’m at the Southville Centre for SBA this weekend. This is my latest textile collage, inspired from a walk along the River Parrett to Muchelney on a sunny Spring day. Such vivid colours but very windy! I’ll also have lots of new prints and cards for sale. The arts trail will be open from 11am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday and I’ll be in the Beauley room at the Southville Centre, probably munching on some of the irresistible cake from the café!

Here we go again, countdown to Christmas, starting with Totterdown’s Front Room Art Fair. I will be in the Jarman Hall at the Totterdown Baptist Church on the Wells Road in Totterdown, Bristol. It will be open from 12-6pm on Saturday and 12 – 5pm on Sunday. As well as some fantastic art and craft on sale, there is a lovely cafe selling drinks and lovely home-made cakes, all run by volunteers from the church. It’s going to be a rainy weekend so what’s better than to go shopping and enjoy yourself!
I have some new original pictures, many prints of various sizes which are available framed, unframed or as a canvas, as well as lots of cards including Christmas cards and postcards.

Hi , I’m busy working on some new pictures for this year’s art trail. I’ll be at my usual place in the Beauley room at the Southville Centre.
Here are some images of my new work which I hope will entice you to come over and enjoy the trail.
I’ll be there on Saturday and Sunday from 11.am to 6pm with lots of pictures, prints and cards for your perusal.
See you there.
Hi, I’ll be in the Main Hall in the Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Southville, in Bristol for the South Bank Arts Trail. This is a really lively event and the Southville Centre is at the hub of all the activities with a great cafe too. The centre is open on Friday 7th May for the preview at 8pm until 9.30 where there is a bar and 11am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
See www.sbaweb.co.uk/artstrail for more details and www.southvillecentre.org.uk for directions.
I will have some new textile collages on display as well as limited edition giclee prints, cards and postcards. Hope to see you there!
A successful trail this year, despite the horrendous weather. I was exhibiting at the Star and Dove pub, lots of people, good food and mulled wine on offer!
What’s a trail I hear you ask? You can find out more on their website but it’s essentially where a number of local people open up their houses for local artists to display their work. It’s hugely popular and on the appropriate weekend you will see many a bedraggled person walking (usually through the rain) around the local area looking at local art!
Keep your ears peeled for more updates of what I am up to. Click here to keep up-to-date via my monthly email of pictures and news.
Oh and here’s the trail’s website again.
Best wishes, Sue.
