Pictures at Backwell House

You can find all of these prints for sale at Backwell House, a beautifully restored country house just outside Bristol.  Much of the art you can see there is supplied by Hidden Gallery in Clifton as part of their Backwell Art.  My work can be found in the gorgeous bedrooms but if you need an excuse to get away from it, they are well worth checking out.  The house made it into the Sunday Times 100 Ultimate British Hotels List in 2016!

New pictures at Old Chapel gallery

I was asked to do another picture of Hergest Ridge which is in north Herefordshire, close to the Welsh border. Popular with walkers and also an album title of a rather well-known musician, Mike Oldfield!  The first picture sold within days so I made this one which I hope will be just as popular.

I have been asked a few times now to make some coastal pictures so I did this one from my time spent at Rhossili in the Gower, south west Wales. Both these pictures are on sale at the Old Chapel gallery in Pembridge, Herefordshire.

May Hill Commission

I was asked to make this picture for a client who has the pleasure of this view from their garden. May Hill is in Gloucestershire, a distinctive crescent shaped hill with a clump of trees on top and is a well-known local landmark.  I have a special relationship with this landscape, having made a few versions of it as it conveys many moods with its ever changing colours that makes it such a wonderful subject.  My client was very pleased with it!

Beauty surrounds us….

I’m celebrating 15 years, working professionally as an artist and the Old Chapel Gallery was one of the first galleries that liked my work and they have been supporting me ever since. As part of Herefordshire Art Week which runs from 10-18th September, I have made two new pictures, Hergest Ridge (featured) and Rhossili Beach. I’m really pleased with both!

Prints at Craftisan

Craftisan is a new shop/gallery/cafe on the Wells Road in Totterdown, Bristol, UK.  Since they opened, I have been selling my prints and cards there.  Back in August, Emily asked me if I wanted to set up a small exhibition of my prints so I chose a selection of my textile collages and collagraph prints, mostly of local scenes of Bristol and Somerset.
